The War Within - Retribution Paladin Herald of the Sun Buffs and bugfixes

The war within preseason is full underway and Yesterday Blizzard released a blue post with huge bugfixes to herald of the sun taking care of a lot of its scaling issues making it viable along side Templar, paladins are looking very good in The war within.

Clearly the best buff to Retribution is the upcoming hi-def remake of the T2 Judgment set! Hopefully they’ll make a purple and even a recolor along the lines of the Wrath prelaunch set available, as well as recolors for other uprezzed class sets!

Im trying herald atm, and its doing the same damage as templar in both ST and AOE. And to be honest, i like not being hostage to the 12 secs window for hammer of light.

Hey ! Ty again for all the intel you provide us for our beloved pals..i fell in love with herald moment i see it, it feels so much more fun/colorful than templar
So i can only be happy for these buffs/bugfixes
I have a question tho, which talent have to be used to optimize herald now? the one you put on your beta video?

Been Herald of the Sun from the start. Not changing since I like the play style better and the class fantasy. Then again I'm not a meta player either

Herald is already good…… we are now s tier for M+

I really feel like they missed the bar with how they designed them. Templar should have synergized with Templar Strike and been more single target focused. That would allow for Herald to synergize with Crusader Strike and be more AoE focused. Maybe it's not a popular opinion but I really think that it would feel and play alot better and make the class feel a bit more dynamic.

Retholy already out dps the other ret. I just had 125mil dmage in a bg and a ret holy has 250mil

herald has been performing better and feeling slightly better than templar imo. so idk
