MPC Live 2 - Finger Drumming - Week 1 - Beginners Tip - Kick / Lead 2 Fingers Progress Update

I've decided once a week I'm going to be uploading a Finger Drumming Video of me playing the MPC Live.

I'm doing this for 2 reasons, both to see my Progress over time but also so you can join me on this evolution of my love for Electronic Music Production.

After 10 years without looking at a DAW I've reconnected with my love for Music through a fellow Producer who I'm also proud to call my Mentor.

He has guided me from knowing nothing about Production at all, except the knowledge of attenuative hearing.
(I can sing a melody in my head then learn it on Piano)

I did Music at GCSE with a short stint learning Flute, Piano and Drums but Digital Production was where I felt at home so thanks to some Mass Force I then went to having Fruity Loops and Reason Rewired through Cubase linked to an AKAI Drum Pad, External Sound Card and a UF88 keyboard in my own Home Studio in 2010 with the ability to Record Live Automation, Synthesize my own sounds from scratch and the key to good House Music sidechainingyour Bass to a Trigger which to a producer is nothing but for someone learning it for the first time well..... Learning that changed my life forever and was the turning point for me immersing myself in that life.

I spent 6 months in Spain and Egypt DJing and making Music to then hang up my Headphones and picked up a Nikon D600 in 2018 after a 6 year hole in my creative outlet that was filled with an MMO on XBOX and PC which I started to stream and create content but soon lost interest as the game faded into a shadow of its former self.

After 4 years of my photography I now have 7 dedicated Instagrams. Yes that's right you read that correctly 7 different Instagram Accounts each one themed slightly differently to lean into my Interests as a Photographer. I've put a link to my Social Tree at the top of this Description if you're interested in anything creative with a Camera there will be a Page for you.

So now after returning into the world of Music Production following a number of life events one with my good friend Dimitri who some of you may know that forced me to reassess what would make me happy in my soul and require no external input from others for validation.

This conclusion has been drawn by indulging in reconnecting with Music to seamlessly merge my love for the Trinity of Music Production, DJing and Sampling and the Trinity of Artistic Creativity in Music, Photography and Video.

The Musical Trinity of Production, Sampling and DJing are all in this MPC Live 2.0 which if I'm honest is by far and away the best Musical Production Groovebox on the Planet right now and I'd sit and discuss this with anyone who has other opinion maybe even something for a Podcast in the future.

The Artistic Creativity Trinity is going to come in all Forms.

I'm in a fortunate enough position to also work full time alongside my journey into Content Creation allowing me to spend my time working to allow me to spend my time outside work living.

Pressuring yourself to monetise your Creative Outlets is a one way ticket to losing your soul and so I'm here on a Personal Journey to see how far I can take myself based purely on my creative passions, self belief and fucking fantastic sense of humour.

Here's some ideas of what I have planned with my Music. All my content will be uploaded to this Channel.
