Seahorses are fish, but they don't look like typical fish. They have a long snout, a small mouth, and a prehensile tail that they use to grip onto objects.

Seahorses have excellent eyesight and can move their eyes independently of each other. This allows them to look in two different directions at the same time.

They are very slow swimmers and rely on their ability to camouflage themselves to avoid predators. They can change their color and texture to blend in with their surroundings.

Seahorses don't have stomachs, so they have to eat almost constantly to survive. They use their long snouts to suck up tiny shrimp and other small crustaceans.

There are over 40 different species of seahorses, ranging in size from less than an inch to over a foot long.
