I bought this phone sim free 2 weeks
And it is a wonderful phone....
It's big with a 6.7 inch display and 21.9 aspect ratio.
It's an ips lcd screen with beautiful colours and a 90 Hz refresh rate that makes scrolling really smooth.
The battery performance is what we come to expect from a Motorola handset...and is superb!
All six of the onboard cameras do a more than satisfactory job.
However, the single downward firing speaker should have been replaced with twin Dolby tuned stereo speakers like the ones on my Motorola g8 power because they are superb....nevertheless that is a minor quibble !
I would fully recommend this phone to anyone looking to buy a phone in the £300-£500 price range.
I am very happy that I bought it !!!

I'm in the USA and just purchased a Motorola One 5G..which after researching on Google seems to be the American version of Moto G 5G Plus. Can you recommend a website that sells Mercedes Benz cases for this phone? I can't find any for some reason. Thanks and be well! 😉

The official website says it has LTPS LCD rather than IPS LCD display. Please clarify whether LTPS is better than IPS?

I was looking to replace my old Moto G5 (2GB RAM/16GB) with ideally a newer phone with a removable battery. Failed efforts to obtain even a 3GB RAM/32GB version meant I was forced kicking and screaming into this decade of fixed battery phones. I like that Motorola phones use nearly base Android OS except for a few useful features, particularly the torchlight on/off, as well as retaining a 3.5mm headphone socket and micro SD slot (up to a massive 1TB). I opted for the 6GB RAM/128GB Moto G 5G Plus and added a 128GB micro SD external card for photos and videos so expect this phone will suffice my needs for a considerable time. The camera and screen are excellent as is the 90Hz refresh rate. While 5G is far from widespread, having it in preparation is a nice plus that one day may prove worthwhile. I only hope the big 5000mA battery lasts long enough to reap those benefits.

cant wait to get this next week, but you missed out that the 5G+ actually has Stereo speakers.. I also thought you were a bit unfair regarding the screen.. here in the UK this costs about £250 now in 2021 and for that price you cant argue.. also it is well know that the amoled screens on budget phones are the old style pentile which were notorious for light bleed and massive burn in discolouration if you watch alot of videos or have your brightness over 70% for more than 2 hours a day.. they are an absolute nightmare and a saturated mess.. so Im glad moto used an LCD, no more refunds after 6 months .. good video though
