The Magic of Believing by Claude M. Bristol
It was not so long ago it was suggested to me to read this book by Claude M. Bristol called The Magic of Believing.
The source that made the suggestion was one of high success, so as always I follow that idea because I like to see what makes people tick.
What is The Magic of Believing?
It seems that The Magic of Believing was written in 1948, and I think the first thing that gives way to its age is the words and sentences that were being used.
This doesn't make the book outdated for this kind of material is always inspiring and good to learn, it's just as important to realize if it did, then Think and Grow Rich would be in the same category.
As the book starts out, Claude starts to talk about his young life and how he learned about this unusual skill of belief.
He gives some pretty interesting examples of how he came to believe this power that he learned to realize and how it quickly took him to his successful life.
There are also a lot of interesting stories he tells about other successful people that used this power of belief to create the life that they wanted.
I got the feeling however, since The Magic of Believing is not a medically accepted ability, he was trying to make sure that we understood this.
He said quite a few times that there would be a lot of people who doubt this power since it is not medically proven, and to be right to the point no proof whatsoever that it even works.
What he meant by that, is perhaps it could be just luck or coincidence that brought things to blossom in these people lives.

Hello Edward I know you posted this video several years back just as the book was written several decades ago . Thanks for your review on this book. I resonate with this book more than Think and Grow Rich as you already know that Napoleon Hill's classic has sold far more copies than The Magic of Believing. I can agree that there are other authors out there that wrote great books on the mind such as Greg Braden as you mentioned , I'm familiar with Dr. BRUCE LIPTON who also wrote a book called The Biology of Belief which goes into further studying on the Quantum Field of how our minds and thought patterns manifest our reality circumstances. Quantum physics is definitely some phenomenal stuff I would admit that Greg Braden, Bruce Lipton & Dr. JOE DISPENZA are the power houses on this Quantum subject. Thanks for your insight !!
