FOMO is a powerful thing, especially among collectors. It's worth noting that the majority of people back a crowdfunding campaign at two points: the beginning and the end. My gut tells me that Giant-Man will squeak by and get fully funded, but none of the tiers will be reached.

Latin America keeps being discriminated by Hasbro, but through 3rd parties and big local retailers, they put around 1000 backers in each haslab protect, although the price is up to two and a half times more.

The Marvel Legends team pretty much confirmed that extra figures aren't free. They literally said if there were extra figures included the price would be higher.

Whether something is "worth it or not" is not entirely subjective.

There are objective criteria where some things just don't make sense no matter how much people like it.

The big picture is to not allow companies to continually make bad offers and be successful.

Customers need to be careful about what they tolerate.

I think you hit the nail on the head with several of your points. It's incredibly hard to commit to a crowd funding item when budgets are still being thrown out of wack due to surprise changes in shipping times. Also, while as children we would've LOVED the large figures and play sets coming, as adults we know the size just isn't practical for the space we have.
