Bro your Vids have helped me out immensely at work. I use your square knot method for towing my boots now along with blousing my pants if they are to long. Ive started wearing the gloves and now YouTube was reading my mind because I was taking about this issue with pants YESTERDAY and your video pops up.

Thanks bro

Chantz, can the patch be removed later when it has holes and replaced with a new patch? Thanks for the vid.

One of the realist welding channels. Great tips! I use the same stuff, used to patch as needed but then I learned to "prepatch" large sections like you show here. You already know where you wear your jeans, and once your not worryed about your new jeans you can lean off that flange a little harder. Couple things I have learned, make sure to never end any seams on your knee, no fun kneeling on that at all. And dont worry about making a mess with the glue, you cant even tell after a few days.

Local 516 here brother, I bet you've hung some of my steel.

I always rounded the corners and make sure to put some newspaper in between what ever you are gluing other wise it will bleed through and glue both pieces together

Got one better I learned years ago. Knee length leather chaps with built in belt buckle in back and snaps down outside. Cooning beams and Hated bar joist destroys crotch of pants and are hard to repair. Chaps are the bomb for this problem. Also leather boot laces and crazy glue seams of boot stitching for spark protection.

Love the videos but ya gotta get the audio sorted out. It's hard to see the video when I have my phone speaker pressed against my ear just to be able to barely hear it.

awesome videos brother. you take criticism well. lost of Joey's (introduction of air quotes now) "know better" and have their way of doing it to share... I like that you say, "awesome idea thanks for sharing" openmindedness and humility will take you places in the trade. stay safe brother. keep the knowledge coming. All love from #433!
