There's much debate on whether or not AIM ASSIST is overpowered and which input is actually the best for Warzone.

Imo, if i have to aim train on keyboard and mouse to compete with some kid with a greasy controller it needs nerfed

Based on the statistics from the Infinity Ward studio head controller at mid to close quarters is a huge advantage

Regardless sim assist . I love the physical movement needed to get a kill while holding a mouse. It feels more immersive to me.

As a m&kb player i feel demoralized everytime i get rekt in a close range fight, but Hard practice will pay off at some point

I've played on both. Controller has the advantage. Mnk has the ability to flick to different people faster than controller (not too much faster but faster) and recoil is easier. But if you can learn to control the recoil with aim assist you can be a demon. The recoil can be so strong on controller in the close range gunfights you can literally hit every shot very very easy, where as on mnk it is much much harder. Even in the mid to long range fights on controller the aim assist can be strong. It takes practice to control recoil but if you can controller has a huge advantage. There is a reason that almost every pro player or content creator uses controller. Aydan, JoeWo, DiazBiffle, Mutex, FifaKill, and many more.

as a m&kb player that used to be a controller player. i feel like i demolish every fight against a controller player or m&kb player. my aim feels like i have aimbot and precise.

Finally some honest opinion! Here is mine - Use Controller - If you wanna be a comp player as major leagues are on controllers (as of now). Use the keyboard and mouse - To have more control, precision and fun. No input is superior or inferior. Both require practice and muscle memory. I am a guy who played on both and this is my opinion. Your thoughts?

I see the methadology, so m&k is good at long range (you should mention not for everyone but hey you don't care) but controller you have 2 ranges better performance.
As someone who played over 5k hours of cod bo1 and 2 on ps4 and xbox and got to global on cs, I can safely say that controller is stronger than m&k, and reason being I have a mouse that can weigh from 60-150g and I have to move the whole mouse and stop it to make the propper aim be good, but on controller moving a stick that requires roughly 5-10g force to move and stop you cant say that having aim assist isn't broken. Actually even in your video you admitted that controller is better overall, the only difference is that people on PC usually go to kovaks and aimlab to train while controller players don't do that, hence the difference in skills. I honestly think that if someone dumps a lot of hours in improving his aiming skills he should be better, rather than losing to someone who just picked up a controller and had software to do aiming for him. Also don't get me wrong controller is not easy to use, but trust me it is way easier to get used to and get better at because of that aim assist. But that is enough about my rambling, no matter on what you play have a nice day

im cracked at games like csgo and valorant but in warzone im pretty bad with the fast paced kbm gameplay and idk if I should swap to controller for warzone and if itll deteriorate my skill in csgo/valorant
what do u guys recommend?

One of the disadvantages with aim assist on controller is that you get used to having it so once you lose aim assist for some reason (and in the dev of Warzone, there seem to be many possible reasons, even at close range) you loose a whole lot of movement control at once. Several things impacting aim assist > Staircases (and the rails that block aim assist when shooting through), dropshot of the ennemi, level, windows, ... I'd say the best gaming choice is the one where you feel good with, the rest is simply getting used to and training to become better

There is nothing to debate now. Definately controller. Statistically proven.

As a hybrid player, controller is much much easier to get used to and get to top level, but keyboard & mouse is harder to get good at but mouse and keyboard has a skill ceiling and if you get so good at that you can easier beat controller players abusing the fact that you can put a lot more input at one time making it overall faster, note: i play hella low sens on kbm, and play 20 20 on controller and it keeps the game fresh because how different it is

I play K&M for everything, being a pretty hardcore CSGO player. I feel like I absolutely HAVE to use controller when I play warzone.

How long does it take a controller to aim and shoot compared to a mouse? A controller triggers have to travel much further before responding compared to Mouse buttons

just as a thought
even as a top player
shouldnt mkb make more sense ?
due to training the input instead of relying on the strenght of aim assist
that may vary from game to game

What about a console player vs a pc player on mouse and keyboard?

Controller definitely has aim assist from far away it's a lot less but if you move to the left and right it will activate more that's why you don't notice it when aiming far away cause you're not moving it is almost nothing then but it's still there

Both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Why is it op in warzone? Most of fights are under 50 meters… and with everyone tryharding and sweating movement it is the reason why controller feels much much stronger in this game
