Reigan Richardson scored a team-high 17 points, making 5 of 9 three-pointers. Delaney Thomas added 13 points, three rebounds, and three steals. For South Carolina, Kamilla Cardoso had a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Chloe Kitts scored 14 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and dished out three assists.

This is a win for Dukes young team. The depth and experience on SC they should have won with way over 20points. This Duke team of freshmen is going to be a problem cause they have a good coach

Seven McGee has always been overated. At Oregon, he only had 18 receptions, 151 yards and 1 TD in 2 seasons. I never understood all the buzz. I doubt seriously if any P5s are interested. He has already failed that test. The first choice for P5s searching the portal is always other P5s followed by group of 5s. There are very few HBCU players that have made it to P5s and even less who make it and have an impact. Some have had marginal success at group of 5s and other FCS programs, but they were the cream of the crop, and Seven is certainly not that. Apparently, his heart is not in JSU which is why he is wavering.

OMG GREAT GAME BY BOTH TEAMS.. women’s basketball is so exciting.. and Reigan Richardson is a bucket.. correct me if I’m wrong though, the difference was Cardozo constantly getting deep deep positioning under the rim.. I think that’s an adjustment on the coach.. Ofc you wanna match big for big, but if I gotta go a bit smaller but more agile I’m gonna have my small forward face guard Cordoza right in that free throw line area.. when a player wants to sit in the paint, I’m gonna pick them up early (before they get the chance to get good positioning in the paint.. turn her into a face up creator for herself..
