I just got mine, its amazing, I get almost 1000 Megs a second read / write. Not to mention the small size, good build quality and the fact that it has the software already on the drive out of the box.

last week I bought this Samsung T5 1TB SSD for €99, - on the Black Friday sale.
3 years earlier I already had bought the blue T5 500GB.
Those have almost 8000 hours on the counter. And work perfect 100% error free Smart test.

Good video, but I would point out that another reason to choose the more expensive SSD over HDD is durability. It's not just about speed, and if someone is looking for a drive for data backup they might benefit from knowing that solid state means no moving parts to fail... To say the only reason to choose an SSD over an HDD is a bit misleading IMHO. Otherwise I thought your video was great, thanks for the info!

What’s cool about the t7 is that it uses NVME (veri fast haha) instead of the past models using SATA (not veri fast but gets job done)

Just ordered the 2TB version for my PS5, plan on using it as the home for all my non-PS5 games and possibly as cold storage for PS5 games. I’ve already installed an M.2 SSD in the expansion bay though so I doubt it will come to that 🙂

ur content is great...already subscribed...even i got that same WD external 1Tb hard drive and that too of colour blue😂 tbh i actually searched for T7 ssd, wanted to knw a lil bit abt it before purchasing but ended up watching bunch of ur videos idk bc of ur accent or maybe ur quality videos i guess, i mean they just stand out, simple, genuine, clean and quick review and yeaa i guess starting a tech channel all by yourself is difficult because you can't just purchase and review everything...but after going through your channel i can say that you're far more than just an ordinary tech reviewer...and alsoo that go pro and Nintendo video really helped me.


btw I'm confused b/w the two...like just like you I don't really need any security in my ssd...so which one should i go for t7 or t7 touch... i mean is there any diff in their build quality or data speeds or anything else in the t7 touch(except the touch id) that should make it worth considering? bc the price diff is like ₹4000(500gb variant)

I'm looking for a 2TB SSD for my iMac to run my active iMovie library. Would you suggest the Samsung T7 or the SanDisk Extreme Pro Gen1. Both have published transfer speeds of 1, 000MB/S. I don't think I need the SanDisk Gen 2 which runs at 2, 000MB/S. Thanks

I just recently got the 1tb version, it was amazing for 2 days then suddenly it stopped working, when I connect it shows a blue then red light then turns off, I’m a little worried because I transferred all my photos onto it, my laptop says my drivers are updated

Hey, so i just bought the Red T7 1TB one and i'm stuck on a small detail. I'm on Windows 10 and i wanted to know if it's necessary to activate/install the Samsung Software that comes with the SSD. Can i just delete it? Or does it do something important with file and data management so i need to keep it. Thanks.
