Never understood why people are hating on this. Corporations and the 1% get bailouts all the time but when ordinary citizens ask for a little bit of help all of a sudden its the worst thing that can happen.

I have student loans and I can barely take care of myself and my family. If the government can bail out the automobile industry why not help the working class people?

so i went to college. graduated. got a bach in stem. cant seem to find a job that pays more than 60k a year using my degree. my debt is 100k. 20k each year for 5 years at a good university because i got good grades in highschool. everyone told me just do it. youll get a good job. and the debt wont be anything to worry about. itll be worthit. trusted the system put in front of me at 17 that i would be okay as long as i went to college. i did it. wish i could go back and decide not to. and tell myself it was all a lie

Student loan relief, not forgiveness. Because if you have $40, 000 in loans and they only forgive $10, 000 then it’s only a relief not a full forgiveness. We are still going to have an issue.

Hey I got a truck payment for my work..I also have a family, home children, , food and health insurance. Now I have good credit and have to pay more for people that don't..Please get me a break between you and the government makes me wonder if i should go to the border and cross so I can get everything paid for. This is why we need more trade schools, lots of these misguided kids are going for stupid degrees that are worthless, no money in what they are majoring in. Then these kids take out loan after loan spending money they do not have, now they want others who have no ties to these people who took out the money but want others to be burden with their bad financial decisions. More inflation, higher taxes but these college kids could care less as long as they get thier debt transferred to someone else. My country has gone to shit 😔

Student debt is hanging in the balance. You borrowed the money, pay it back. Don’t depend on daddy taxpayer. Pay for the diploma or if it was up to us you’d lose it.
