I would always force bad setups when I was focusing on one market. Makes so much sense

I am a swing trader, trading one pair wont work for me because it takes ages to get a setup

I agree Mack! Simple math. If you have a 50% win rate and take 10 Trades with a 1:2 RR, that will be 10 - 5 = +5R total And with 12 trades it will be 12 - 6 = +6R total. And so on and on. Long term you can and will earn more with more trades this way. BUT keep in mind that you still need that balance. Ofc you want to maximize your profits but still you need to find the balance with amount of trades.

Myself, I use a lot of markets. And a lot of them correlates. So, some weeks they only correlate to give me 1-2 setups out of the correlation. Some days none. And some days on almost EVERY market you find trades. I've experienced that the last week actually and that can be very stressful. You feel like you need to take all trades because of FOMO.. Take a step back then and analyse if it's actually a valid setup or not.

Not all trades should be taken. Because exactly those trades you think will be winners. Might be your losers for that week. And vise versa next week. Just follow your plan 100% and remember that the market will give you infinite of opportunities!

Wow. Timing of this video is incredible. Up to this past week this is exactly what I have been doing for months. Last Wednesday I finally took a trade on a pair which has an inverse correlation that got me a 1:3rr. It went further even. Point is when I thought about it later that evening I came to the realization to have a few pairs. This way one does not limit themselves

I believe in trading more than 1 but not too many. Every pair has its own win rate for your unique strategy. So yes trade a handful but, please retain only the ones which work best for your strategy.

Facts. I fell into the one currency pair trap, and I didn’t realize how many opportunities I lost out on. Trading one pair can actually create FOMO as well. You miss your move now you gotta wait a whole day to re-enter versus taking a look at the other 20 pairs you have on your watchlist.

One currency pair isn’t a bad idea at all,

However it does create a sense of FOMO. And therefore does require ALOT of patience. But trading alot of pairs creates a whole different kind of fomo plus confusion. Stick to 3 to 5 pairs.

Iv went from 15, to 10, to now 3 pairs. Swinging and scalping. Psychologically, im at a better place. Less is more…

When i started trading I whole heartedly believed in the one pair. My whole first year trading was spent on demo trading Nas, it was all good in demo when it wasn't real money. But waiting for one set up on one instrument is a sure fire way to force setups when the only chart you know is dry.

My exact story, coming from trading only EURUSD, then found that I missed setups on other pairs when I was waiting for EURUSD...This is legit

I personally think you can find success if you are a more of a conservative day trader and have a risk to reward that enables you to be comfortable in taking one or two trades a week, I mean we all have different risk appetites in terms of taking opportunities. So what I am satisfied with may not work for another person. Nonetheless great video as always👌

its funny, i remember watching ur video where u talk about why u only traded one pair & i thought u were crazy. I was swing trading at the time- FX, Metals, Indices...whatever. Fast forward about 9 months & im only day trading NQ now & i love it. There's multiple setups every day & i know all the little idiosyncrasies of the asset. Also, I love going to sleep knowing im not gonna wake up & be stopped out, order didn't get filled....anyway, now that I'm pretty comfortable with it, might be time to look into other assets to swing. Be well

Thank you, I was about to go back to trading one pair after I had a losing week, than today I was looking at my previous trades and I found out that there was nothing wrong with the pairs, I just had to understand that it was just a losing week and there's nothing wrong that I did cause I followed my plan as usual. Now you dropping this video it like a confirmation. Again thank you for all your helpful videos Mack

I always look at multiple pairs, minimum 8-10 and it depends on quality of setups. It helps you with the abundance mindset. During the weekend I filter through the 28 major forex pairs and pick from there and sometimes add in gold/silver since I trade mostly structure which is universal in most liquid markets
