Dr. Jonathan Serody discusses innovative CAR-T cancer treatments available only at UNC Lineberger

Jonathan Serody, MD, explains how UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center is designing, developing and delivering chimeric antigen T-Cell therapy, or CAR-T therapy, to attack cancers that fail to respond to standard treatments. Serody says cellular therapy, which includes CAR-T therapy, has become the fourth pillar of cancer treatment, together with chemotherapy, radiation and surgery.
