I personally love these LTT shows that have that little bit of extra detail work. This is definitely one of them. Huge praise to whose who did this episode!!

Stage manager wasn’t brought from the iPad, it was actually announced first at WWDC for Mac and then added to the iPadOS presentation some minutes later

The settings/system preference change is less like someone moved your furniture and more like someone rearranged everything in your cabinets and drawers. It’s annoying because I knew where everything is and now I’ve gotta find stuff again. I’ve enjoyed Ventura thus far though.

Ventura is fine, though I do prefer to tile pages across the screen than have them on a side bar.

Personally, I went with Pet Detective Ace Ventura than either of those.

I can see quite a few UI inconsistencies/weirdness. For example, some text in buttons and search bars are not aligned to the center. In some search bars the text is not centered with the 'magnifying glass' icon. Looks like some Linux Distros I've tried, and it's not something I would personally pay for.

I've been noticing this quite a bit recently in 'modern' UIs. Did they not hire any typography experts or something? Apple was quite big on that a decade ago.

Windows 11 has similar problems, if I last remember, in their new context menu design. The mouse hover highlight feels like its squishing the text. Did they fix that?

1. Ultrawide lens is used for desk view
2. Stage Manager is both a macOS and iPad release, it was never iPad-only
3. No mention of a shared photo albums feature iCloud had for years that shared library effectively rips off
