I'm honestly really impressed with the public speaking skill of Paxton's defense attorney. I don't think I've agreed with a single piece of his closing arguments in the slightest, but IMO he is really skilled at holding the attention of an audience (changes in tone and tempo, volume and cadence, non distracting appearance, expressive body language, unrestrained and charming etc). Found him interesting to watch perform, he reminds me of Richard Gere's slimy but dazzling criminal defense attorney character from Chicago 😂 Anyway I hope his side loses
