Wonderful presentation, this man has done His homework, praise God!

Spirit of Christ is another name or title for the Holy Spirit. It does not mean that the Holy Spirit and Jesus are the same person because we cannot ignore the many verses that prove they are separate persons. The messiah is called the “Everlasting Father” in Isaiah 9:6. But we know that Jesus and the Father are separate persons. Jesus and His Father are ONE so Isaiah 9:6 makes sense after reading John 10:30.

Paul mentioned the Spirit of Jesus and Christ in Galatians and Philippians 1:19. But we know he is not saying that the Holy Spirit and Jesus are the same person because in other epistles he wrote he clearly defines them both as separate ex. In Romans 8:26-27, 34, 2 Corinthians 13.14, and Matthew 12:31-32. We cannot define one text without taking the weight of evidence into consideration.

The Holy Spirit has many names or titles. Example.
Spirit of prophecy Revelation 19:10
Spirit of adoption Romans 8:15
Eternal Spirit Hebrews 9:14
Holy Spirit Matthew 12:31-32
Spirit of God Matthew 3:16-17
Spirit of Christ 1 Peter 1:11
Spirit of Jesus Christ Phil 1:19
Spirit of His Son Gal 4:6
Spirit of truth
Spirit of wisdom
The Spirit
Comforter/Helper/Advocate
Spirit of grace Hebrews 10:29 (and He can be insulted and He is mentioned apart from the Son of God in this verse)
These different names or titles teach us different aspects of who the Holy Spirit is and His unique work He performs for our salvation.

He is the Spirit of Christ because He does not speak on His own authority but on the authority of Christ, that which He hears He speaks. He teaches us and guides us into all the truths of the Bible including the testimony of Jesus Revelation 12:17, 19:10.
He is the representative of Christ on earth.

Peter also did not mean that the Holy Spirit and Jesus are the same person.
1 Peter 1:11
“searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.”
‭‭
So “HE” the Spirit of Christ, “testified” about the sufferings of Christ. Two persons are mentioned in 1 Peter 1:11. Peter did not believe they were the same person. Jesus does not testify of Himself. The Holy Spirit testifies of Christ.

1 Peter 1:2
“elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father(1)in sanctification of the Spirit(2)for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ(3)Grace to you and peace be multiplied.”
‭‭
So we can call Jesus the Son of God and believe that Jesus and the Father are two persons but we call the Holy Spirit the Spirit of God and say that they are the same person? No, they are separate.

The phrase Son of God means two persons are mentioned. Spirit of God means two persons are being mentioned, the same as Spirit of Christ. The evangelicals are classic for taking singled out unclear one liners and building a false position from that, just like how Colossians 2:14-16 is used to try and prove that the 4th commandment was abolished, while ignoring the rest of the scriptures and weight of evidence.
And here we have misguided Adventists building a false position from one Ellen White quote about the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of Christ.

Don’t ignore the many other quotes where she clearly states that the Holy Spirit is a separate divine person, the THIRD PERSON OF THE GODHEAD, and that silence is golden on this matter 😇😇😇

I was born into a SDA family and always believed in the ‘trinity: god the father, god the son, and god the holy spirit until recently; however, studying the Scriptures with the Spirit of Prophecy and our Pioneers beliefs, I can wholeheartedly say that all those who believe as such are wrong, the trinity doctrine is a false doctrine which was brought into the church primarily by LeRoy Froom who I found out that was a Jesuit Catholic priest and more likely joined the SDA church for the sole purpose to deceive and mislead many thus leading them to perdition. Please study the Scriptures and Spirit of Prophecy diligently with prayer and find out for yourself that NONE of our Pioneers nor Sister White believed in the trinity. For example, she refuted Dr Kellog and Brother Chapman who came to believe in god the father, god the son and god the holy spirit, three gods in unity, thus god the holy spirit being a different person to the Father and the Son [Jesus Christ.] Here just a few quotes from Sister White and some of our Pioneers on this matter, which trinitarians are ignoring:

"Cumbered with humanity, Christ could not be in every place personally; therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them, go to His Father, and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself, divested of the personality of humanity, and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit, as the Omnipresent. “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall [although unseen by you] teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. ... Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.” {Lt119-1895.18}

"The Son of God shared the Father's throne, and the glory of the eternal, self-existent One encircled both. . . . none but Christ, the Only Begotten of God, could fully enter into His purposes, and to Him it was committed to execute the mighty counsels of His will" (PP, p. 36).

"After the earth was created, and the beasts upon it, the Father and Son carried out their purpose, which was designed before the fall of Satan, to make man in their own image. They had wrought together in the creation of the earth and every living thing upon it. And now God says to his Son, "Let us make man in our image." (ST Jan. 9, 1879; par. 13).

"In the beginning the Father and the Son had rested upon the Sabbath after Their work of creation." (DA p.769, par.2).

“The Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father, is truly God in infinity, but not in personality. Ellen White, Upward Look, page 367

“Christ has given HIS Spirit as a divine power.” — (E.G. White, RH, Nov 19, 1908)

“How few realize that Jesus, unseen, is walking by their side!” — (E.G. White, 14MR 125.3)

“He [Christ] is an unseen presence in the PERSON of the HOLY SPIRIT, ” — (E.G. White, DG 185.2, 1897)

“The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God; it is also the Spirit of Christ.” U. Smith, GC Daily Bulletin, Vol. 4, March 1891, pp. 146, 147

“Here we find that the Holy Spirit is both the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ.” E. J. Waggoner, Christ and His Righteousness, p. 23, 1890

“We learn from this language that when we speak of the Spirit of God we are really speaking of his presence and power.” J. N. Loughborough, Review & Herald, September 13, 1898

“The divine Spirit that the world’s Redeemer promised to send is the presence and power of God.” Signs of the Times, November 23, 1891

“We want the Holy Spirit, which is Jesus Christ.” E. G. White, Lt66, April 10, 1894

This is another statement of Sister White which says, I quote:

Before the entrance of evil, there was peace and joy throughout the universe. All was in perfect harmony with the Creator’s will. Love for God was supreme, love for one another impartial. Christ the Word, the only begotten of God, was one with the eternal Father, —one in nature, in character, and in purpose, —the only being in all the universe that could enter into all the counsels and purposes of God. (Great Controversy, 493)

If this is true, then, how is it that Christ was the ONLY BEING in all the universe that could enter into ALL THE COUNSELS and PURPOSES of God? Where was the ’god the holy spirit?’ After all, if he is ‘god’ being co-eternal and co-equal with the Father, how is it that he could not enter into all the counsels and purposes of God?

We MUST be very careful in what we believe as the devil is running to and fro on the face of this earth to deceive as many as he can. Therefore, study the Scriptures, the Spirit of Prophecy and the beliefs of our Pioneers for yourselves and let none foul you. We need to do like the Bereans, who went home and studied the Scriptures for themselves to see if it were so!
