My sweet Mama transitioned to Heaven in September last year. We had her Celebration of Life in November. I kept having to go back to the store to get more supplies for picture boards. I wound up with 11 picture boards (4 extra large ones and 7 large ones). I am still going thru her things and finding photo albums. She did not want to lose those memories!! Many of them were taken with disposable cameras. I'm thankful for all the work she put in in capturing and saving those memories!!! Over 330 pictures on those boards. Wow! 💕 🙏🏼 💕

Everything you have said is so true. I have learned these lessons a while back. I don’t delete voicemails or pictures because as you said I have them as keepsakes which I go back to often. I also have learned to take pics of myself once I discovered I didn’t have pics of my younger self to show my children because I thought I didn’t take pictures well. I began taking pics no matter how I looked in my head so that my children would have memories in photos of me.

Pictures, cards, and videos are good to have but accumulate to be too much to carry. The best capture Of Our Loved Oned are the memories in the heart. Saying I Love You Are Expressed In Our Actions.. Some People when you say I love you act so awkward because maybe they don't feel the same way. But, those same people would say tgey love Our FATHER JEHOVAH. But, the artifacts as mentioned at the top of this text. Those memories you can carry freely and never loose. Those gat are in one's heart. ... Be Blessed... I Love You...

Yeah it feels good to have my older kids live close by n I cherish my time with my grandson the last time we hung out was the most perfect day like God was there with us we went to the park got ice cream n we played hard at the park n the sunset n just being in that moment with him n my two younger children..we had a blast. The mom took him to another town but man Iiss my little guy my grandson has no idea how much we love him. I'm trying to get us in a better position so the mother n him know they always welcome n I want my older kids to know that we're family were always home to each other n that they're always welcome. Coming from being homeless n we were all separated n by the grace of God we are together now n I even made things right with my mom's. Not going for tactics I just focus on the fact she's my mom's n I do watch my back it's way more peaceful. It's not about me. It doesn't have to be. This year I got her real flowers I didn't steal them or they wasn't fake plastic cuz I thought flowers meant forever 😅but nah it felt good to give her real flowers n she was actually there I didn't have to go look for her it was weird cuz I don't ever know where she's at n Im glad I didn't give up on her. She's still her but to me that's my momma n she doesn't have to be perfect. I'm just grateful for real. ❤
