Hi Chic Geek, I love these videos. I 100% agree on the ELF putty bronzer as vastly overrated, as I commented in one of your videos last week. I got a darker shade on purpose after a lot of research because I think cream bronzers in general get sheered out a lot, and I still cannot get this to work very well. Even if it's only $6, I really hate decluttering makeup because it's such a waste; I cannot get anyone I know to take makeup off my hands, even high end/luxury palettes, lol. (NOBODY wants my barely touched Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk large eyeshadow palette. Grrr!)

I didn't like the True Skin Foundation and the Concealer from Catrice. They didn't work for me at all and I had to declutter them.

Try the Nars sheer glow. I have combo oily skin, that tends to get drier in the winter. (The sheer glow is in the shorter packaging, btw.) It works pretty well if you can find your shade. It medium to buildable full. I try to keep it at a medium coverage level. But I tell you, it doesn't emphasize my developing fine lines on my forehead or my smile lines. It lasts under the mask, and works well with other products. I have been using the Elf jelly pop primer with it. I have used the too faced hangover primer with it as well, but I think it works better with a gripping primer like the jelly pop. I feel your pain too, because when you spend that much money on a foundation, (or any product for that matter) you should NOT have to work to make it work. You pay for it to work! Anyway, once again I enjoyed the video.

I've got very dry skin now.

What works for me a lot of the time when confronted with a foundation that is dry and cakes on me, like that Nars Long Wear foundation with you, is to add one drop of facial oil to that days application of foundation, and that tip has worked extremely well for me. I learned that from Wayne Goss!

I've only had one really really bad product this year, and that was a Marc Jacobs lip gloss that was just so glittery that it resembled chunks of glitter being held together as a mass with a slippery goo. It was horrible! I bought it in a panic because I was so keen to get one last MJB item on sale. I bought it massively reduced from Sephora on-line. In it's defence, I would have loved it when I was five years old!! 😂😂

I just picked up that Becca liquid highlighter the other day from Marshall's. Looks like I'll be holding off on using that until the summer to mix into my body lotion.

One of the worst products I tried was the Tarte maracuja tinted moisturizer. I hated it!! It does nothing for me.. and the shade match was horrible too. I love the fenty one and milani one but that tarte one was not for me... and I HATED the ELF putty bronzer too!! I agree with you.. very overrated and patchy on me.. I decluttered it.

Not a new to 2021 product, but the worst thing I tried this year was the Makeup Revolution Mega Bronzer. It was so patchy on me and I could not get it to blend.

I won’t lie, I only own 1 foundation because I honestly prefer just concealer and I’d be done. I’m trying to use it up since my mom gave it to me and guilt is a real thing, but I would rather deal with a concealer than a foundation. Just not my personal preference.

I was disappointed with the maybelline blushed nudes pallet. But I’m trying to learn to love it. It’s just very sheer and little color but I want to see why my sister enjoys it so much, so I’m going to try a different approach

Nars really seems to have it mixed up when it comes to the foundation names. I am combo oily and the sheer glow is legit one of my all time favourites. The “Long-wearing” foundation looks redicilous on me. The name got me, but it couldn’t be any more misrepresenting.

I feel like you picked up a bad batch of the Nars foundation. A long time ago it was my go to and loved it and i used it with the tacha primer. It was so beautiful but I did pan it last year. This year I spotted a mini at tjmax, I picked it up but the finish was exactly how your experience was. Dry and looked terrible. I decluttered the mini, then I picked up another one from ulta online. I wanted to give it another shot and had a coupon as well as points. Well it was totally different! It worked so well, just like I remembered it. Maybe yours is a bad batch or expired

The worst product by far, for me, was a Laroch-Posey skincare product. Why? I found out the hard way that I am allergic to that particular product. I had a red blotchy face which felt like it was on fire.

For me it was the Wet n Wild Hydrator BB Cream and the Colourpop Pretty Fresh Foundation. Shade range is not great. Just not impressed.
