I have a strong feeling they will change it up in the way fans have wanted for decades: Wario and Waluigi will shine as the main villains of this one, not anti-heroes or a B plot but full-fledged villain masterminds. They'll get their redemption arc in a subsequent spinoff film, but in this one we will finally get that legendary battle we've always wanted but never did see: Mario bros vs Wario bros.

I have a feeling it’s gonna be yoshi based. Based off the post-credit scene it’s probably going to be based off yoshi, and in later games, he goes up against bowser jr- such as yoshi’s woolly world or yoshi’s crafted world. Hopefully I’m correct! 😁
