On my opinion, one of their best songs.

This song can be a little bit too real.

The Stones are the greatest band ever, and part of their greatness has to do with their versatility. “Miss You” is another one that should be reacted to.

One of those songs you couldn't believe the Stones could do. It's beautiful. Another great from them is "Wild Horses".

Definitely need to do "Wild Horses"!

Some may not know that Mick Jagger has an affinity for black ladies. IMO, this song is about the struggles of an interracial relationship due to the references to what "they" say.
Brown Sugar is also definately about black ladies.

Just about when people said "I wonder if the Stones can do a ballad without trashing her " Almost too sweet but many girls born in 74 were named after this . Not my top song on the LP . I liked the opposite tune" Star Star " or "Star F-r. It was the first time I saw a warning label on an LP . It was censored and probably the song with the most F bombs in Rock history. Still censored I'm sure, but best tune on the LP. You can't touch that tune, but maybe ❓ A DJ in Mpls played it for us but he had to bleep like a hundred times. He actually got in trouble even doing that . 🙄❗

Angie is a take on David Bowies wife at the time Angie Bowie.

My Daddy used to sit and listen to this song and eventually learned to play it on his acoustic guitar when my Mom divorced him and married another man. I was only about 7 years old, and didn't understand he was grieving the loss of his marriage and his family. Looking back as an adult, I know how heartbroken he was. Such a sad beautiful song.

Personally, I think this is Mick 's best singing . He really is a gifted singer with a ton of emotion and unique voice.

Rolling Stones "Dead flowers" and "Sister Morphine" are songs you should try that NO ONE reacts to. Continue to be trend setters, give them a try !

Angie is David Bowie's ex-wife. At the time Mick wrote this song, he was very close friends with David and his wife. Maybe more than socially. Wink wink.

Incredible band, very versatile. I started listening to music in 1964, these guys are in my top 10 best.

Not sure how you can read the lyrics and speculate whether this woman's dead or not. She's not.

In 1984 when I was 16, my best friend was a another girl named Angie. She was 16, waist long blonde hair and tall as the summer was long. We did everything together, where 1 was found the other would be too. One day, she just disappeared without a trace. Weeks rolled by they could not find her. The 45 of this song was in constant play on my stereo as I cried and prayed they'd find her. Months passed and I got a phone call - it was her! She said "Baby - it's me! I'll be coming home soon." and then she hung up. They traced her to California, long way from Omaha, NE. She'd been taken by an Afghan guy. She was never seen or heard from again. That was 36 years ago. I still think of her, I still miss her and still song still brings tears to my eyes.

The most beautiful and sad breakup song ever. But I could listen to it nearly all day.

This song and "She's A Rainbow" are my 2 favorite Stones songs. That's saying a lot considering their body of work. Nice reaction.
