I cant believe they remade this movie. The original scared the shit out of me as a kid.

Still prefers the Anjelica Huston version, her accent, beauty and devilish acting can’t compare to the cgi witches we have now. Huge props to the special effects team in 1990, they made very realistic mouse transformations still haunting to this day.

the whole "the kids stay mice forever and create a child soldier army to kill witches" alteration really threw me for a loop... as opposed to the original "one of the good witches undoes the curse" ending of the original.
