A Female Sparrow Hawk in My Nearby Wild!

Buzzards and Red Kites fly overhead. Sometimes a Red Kite lands on the green opposite my home. Today, much to my astonishment, a female Sparrowhawk had caught a Wood Pigeon and was in the process of eating it, just opposite may home. I crept alongside my mini meadow so that I could get close enough to film this amazing small bird of prey which has adapted to skilfully hunt in woodlands and small gardens. But kept a respectful distance. You never quite know what might happen in your very own nearby wild on any given day. I have photographed a Green Woodpecker in the very same place one cold winter's morn!
