That's pretty upsetting. While I'm not a CLG fan, their history and legacy meant a lot. Additionally, I gained a lot of respected for the league vertical based on all the hard work they put in to turn the org around and become a team where fans can be proud and not feel embarrassed. I do hope all the people who got laid off find something. Esports in general is tough. It's a bit of a money sink. It hasn't had the projection the market thought it was going to have.

I've been a CLG fan since all the way back in S2. Admittedly I've fallen out of being a League fan for awhile now but to hear about such a storied organization coming to an end after so long is tragic. I hope everyone is able to find solid footing and carry on.

Dude I've watched every CLG game since some point pre-lcs when I was introduced, and I literally am distraught. This blows... I was kinda excited for league's pro scene to start feeling a little more underground as the bubble started bursting, but jfc this just wrecked me. I feel for the people who lost their jobs. These organizations are ran by children essentially. It doesn’t take somebody with extensive business knowledge to look at the structure of CLG and see that there’s no way possible they aren’t bleeding capital. There’s literally no ROI or YoY coming in… they barely do content, they’re not winning events, they don’t do apparel and they haven’t shown over the past 5 to 10 years that they plan on making any changes. If I was an investor in this economy, the first place, I’m pulling my money out is CLG

The bubble is truly popping. I doubt this will be the last one. I expect other orgs to either fold completely or leave league. NA just isn't making money in LCS anymore. NA going to be like EU Masters sooner rather than later. Just a regional competition with no worlds tie in. The money just isn't there.

Their FGC team is stacked and they're doing wonderous things for the community online and at in-person events. They've become a pillar for the FGC in the past year and I really hope they're taken care of
