Forest had fourteen players on international duty. Two of them came back with injuries, one of whom has been a starter in all games so far, another has featured in two or three games already.

Chris Wood plays for New Zealand, Aina and Awoniyi for Nigeria, Sangare and Boly for Côte d'Ivoire, Sosa for Paraguay. I am pretty sure they will be racking up a few miles between them.

Not Arne's fault. The formation was well placed. It was the performance of our players that let us down. Only TAA and Gravenberch were good. Szoboszlai was terrible and when your key player in the mid sucks, then your whole team will suck. Salah was not good either but he did far better than Szobo.

Bit of an odd statement that one and players on International duty, Forest had i believe 8 of their first team players out on international duty, two came back with injuries. For once, people should watch the Match of The Day analysis from Alan Shearer that shows the lines and solid formations that Forest played, just talking about it like here doesn't show you the system. They were a unit that Liverpool couldn't break through. Liverpool were not as good as usual, but Forests system didn't let them play it. Credit to Forests tactics, no way was it a smash and grab game that's quite insulting to Forest who had the perfect game plan.
