Coming back and watching this after watching Deadpool and Wolverine, I love it. And knowing that it was actually Hugh who contacted Ryan and Shawn saying ‘I want in’ when he first saw Deadpool 1, literally days after announcing his retirement… so good.

It's such a weirdly rare and unique thing that Ryan not only FITS deadpool as a character, but that he's so invested in making it great. he's not burdened by the responsibility of the character but excited with making a good thing.

Ryan Reynolds is not only a marketing genius, his in person charisma and genuine likability must be off the charts. Not only did he get the first movie made thru pure determinations, the man got Cher, Dolly Parton, and Celine Dion to bless off on using their music in a rated R movie (Deadpool 2).

Now he's brought back Jackman to the comics fold.
