Well for years I worked in the West Virginia oil and gas field. I can safely say drilling poses no real threats to Federal Forests. Land reclamation is among the best in the industry although it would be in good favor if some strict regs are put on the transport of the oil and gas. A full proof safe method of transportation of product is the most dangerous. Spills and leaks happen unfortunately so special care in this and they should be everything to gain for the state opening up new drilling.
