I have a SG that had a high nut. Instead of fixing the nut I raised the saddle and bridge slightly and it instantly became the best guitar for playing slide on I have ever seen.

One of the best guides on buzz I’ve found on YouTube, and I’ve looked for a lot when i was trying to fix my Strat. Another cause not covered here (or any videos I’ve found) are “ski jumps” where the neck connects to the body.

Ultimately the thing that rid of my buzzing was getting a LP instead 😂
