My Top 5 Methods of Learning Languages

In this video, I’m explaining my top 5 ways to learn languages. Most people learn languages to speak them, so my main focus of the video concentrates on that element. The methods that I list in the video are not ideal for everybody; therefore, I’m NOT saying that my methods are the best and that they work for everybody. The methods I list in the video are just the methods that work for me, and they may or may not work for you.

My top 5 methods of learning languages:
1. Speak the language in your head 24/7
2. Translate vocabulary that you don’t know
3. Speak the language with native speakers
4. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes when speaking
5. Don’t try to be perfect from the start

Feel free to share this video with people you know who love learning languages or with people in general. I very much appreciate the support.

About me:

I’m Alex, and I’m a student at UNLV. As I major in Spanish, I advance in my linguistic skills, learn new concepts, and understand how learning within languages works. I’m fluent in Russian, Hebrew, and English, and I’m learning Spanish and German. I’m simply trying to make languages seem very easy.

My social media outlets, if you want to check them out:

As a disclaimer, I’m NOT a teacher and have never taught a day in my life, but I faced many horrible teachers (especially in languages), so I’ve decided to educate on these topics using my way, better than how most people would teach them. What works for me may or may not work for you, and that’s okay because we all have our unique ways of learning.

Learning the concepts of my mother language, Spanish, helped with understanding things I wasn’t aware of before. Much appreciated 👍

If you’re open to video ideas, would you mind doing other conceptual videos on Latin alphabetical languages, like French—which I’m currently learning—German (also learning) or Dutch? I’m having a hard time with principles and accentuated words, as most beginners of French do, and I can’t find any other creators I trust to teach.
