Richard, just so you know, 3 years after you made this video, you are helping someone in Nigeria learning how to drive. Thank you.

Meeting traffic for me as been, by far, the thing I've felt the least comfortable with when learning to drive. This video has been a great help, many thank for taking the time to make it.

As someone with autism and dyspraxia, I am waiting on a decision from the DVLA as to whether or not I should be able to drive but I am already researching how to drive and I find your videos to be incredibly useful. You are definitely easing my anxiety and have videos answering all the questions I have! Thank you so much!

Thank you for taking the time to cover these concepts. I'm starting to understand that new learners (myself included) make mistakes in these situations only because most trainers never get around to explaining the correct approach.
Your channel has smashed my driving anxiety as a learner, thank you SO SO MUCH.

Extremely well explained using graphics to demonstrate all sorts of various scenarios, backed up by real in-car situations. Also the importance of looking *both right AND left* when entering (and giving way to) a road with parked cars from a sideroad. Every day is a day at school. Thank you. Best. Noel

My test is tomorrow and this is a big struggle for me. I've been binge watching your videos and they are so helpful (especially as my test is in Colchester!), so regardless of the results tomorrow, thanks for the help! The way you explain each section of driving is so helpful for a someone with an anxiety disorder as it helps me have a "textbook" of knowledge in my head for every situation

Your idea of keeping your left foot in line with where you want to be positioned has helped me it stops you from looking at your car and more where your body is positioned on the road

I like how he proper just relays all the information without taking ages like some other videos. good when you really just want to get the relevant information. I also like the expressiveness and intermingled humor and alot of good solid info as afforestated. (meaning more than just this one vid as have watched a fair bunch thus far.
I personally get on much better with this than 'advance drivin school' for example. Different way of learning just more compatable with me personally, also like some from a fella called Chris but for me this works best

This video is great for my knowledge. I finally know why i pass my driving test when i thought i made a mistake passing between a bus and an oncoming vehicle. After i moved out to pass the bus, then i saw the oncoming vehicle and decided to squeeze between.

You are the best driving instructor. ADIs should also learn from you. In London, the instructors are interested in just minting a lot of money. I so wish I could learn from an expert like you but I am not so lucky.

Thank you, you break this down so well, making it easier to understand, my own instructor makes me more anxious with meeting traffic, i actually feel like im going to cry, im usually ok but then i find myself woreying more of her reaction instead of using my head, reasong the road & anticipating....
