Biden scares the *"you know what"* out of me

I will tell you a little story. Imagine yourself living in your own house that you have owned for centuries. You and your siblings live in it in peace. Some of you are Muslims, some of you are Jews, and some of you are Christians. However, you live in a beautiful, peaceful coexistence. Then a person fleeing from World War II comes to you and you host him in your home and welcome him. You treat him well, then he turns into a psychopath who claims that the house is his. Then he takes your house by force, kills your father, rapes your mother, imprisons your brother, expels your sister from the house permanently, corners your younger brother in the bathroom, beats you every day, and deprives you of food and electricity. You are prevented from taking transportation inside the house or entering the airport. You have no right inside the house and cannot leave it if you wish. And if you raise your voice and try to demand freedom, you will die. Tell me, will you be able to live in peace like this, or will you resist to regain your home?

Biden claims that the US must support Israel to protect American values around the world. But Israel does not share America's values, that is at the heart of the problem. That is unless he means that those values include genocide, intentional bombing, starving, and killing of civilians, violating international law, cruel and inhumane acts against humanity, a system of apartheid, authoritarian rule, and collective responsibility of the civilian population for acts committed by its government. These are the values he wants to hold up to the world as representing America? I refuse to accept these as a representation of America. These are not values that American tax money should go to support. And these are not the values American solders should be asked to fight and die for.

It's time to take another look at this thing. We (US) need to really think about getting too involved with this. This situation will never end between the Palestinian and Israeli people. It's time for nations of the world to work together to bring about a peaceful end. We have to stop spreading ourselves too thin. Let's support more peace. We don't need to get involved in every battle. It only makes others hate us.
