The Dutch brough the Spanish Empire to it's knees, the Dutch invaded Britain to end it's Dark Ages, the Dutch Republic was the example to the American repubic and DOI, the Dutch were the cradle of the enlightenment that led to the French revolution, and they were the blueprint of the nation state and nationalism, only to see all of that civilization turned into war happy imperialism.

The Dutch don't like war. Since their birth as a nation in 1581, which marked the birth of nation states in general, they only defended themselves against the European imperialists, which was given the size of the country usually better done by diplomacy and one of their great inventions, capitalism. Even the conquest of Britain was defensive and to the merit of the British people. But lately in that effort to manouver through all that big country aggression, they have allied themselves too close to the imperialist powers in the world.

As a citizen of the Netherlands I can tell you, we couldnt field a Division if our lives depended on it. Hell, we couldnt even field a Brigade.

Fun fact: The Netherlands isnt even giving the Ukrainians a fully functional Patriot system, we are just giving them a launcher and a few missles. No radar or firecnotrol system for Ukraine.
Can you imagine having to put a puzzle you have no experience with together while being bombed by the Russians.
