Loved this! I used to do a hand written note for every order but in the end it took up sooo much time and I think customers would rather me just ship their order out hahah so I now use printed ones too. They can also be used as a small extra art piece so its a win-win! Loved this video Emily :) lovely to pop this on and listen to you chat whilst I get through orders on this rainy morning x

I loved watching this and hearing your packaging process. I hate that I have to use plastic in my shipments too but I live in a tropical climate and its very humid too plus factor in monsoon season & I sell staionery unfortunately cellos are my best option at the moment ( i just make sure i dont use too much of it so i package everything in one pack) and the rest in paper. Oh how I wish I can transition to a much eco friendly option soon. I just tell myself its good that were self aware and we are trying! so dont feel too bad if we cant have all the most eco friendly stuff at the moment. we will get there :)

Great video, Emily! I totally understand about using cello and being uncomfortable using it, I use the biodegradable cello now for my prints and cards. I guess it's better than plastic, right? Also, I've been wanting to try out Noissue, but like you it's the cost that is keeping me from buying right now. I haven't used branded stickers yet for packaging orders, but I'm been thinking of trying that out next year!

I can't find solutions for the cello problem either for the prints. Any I find which are better for the environment are sold out :( I will also keep trying until they are available. Let me know if u find any!

hiya! I’ve wanted to start a sticker Etsy shop recently and I’ve planned everything. One thing that I’m confused with is, ,
when you ship out orders, how often do you package them and ship them out?

I know that my store won’t be huge at the start, so I don’t know if I should send things out daily or weekly? No one really has information on this :/

So when you finish printing your shipping label you just drop it off at the post office and Etsy knows?

Thanks for this video - It was really helpful. Quick question, do you wrap your greetings cards in tissue paper too? I sell mainly greetings cards and I always worry that they look bit boring just in the hardback envelope but I think wrapping them individually might be overkill...
