I have a 03 325i with 5 speed smg but just looks like a hydraulic solenoid next to the fluid resevour, takes atleast a second to change gear anyone know what maintenance i can do to sort it what type of fluid it takes etc, thank you. Light on the round sport button doesen’t stay on either

Do you turn yours off in neutral or 1st gear? I heard that turning the engine off in 1st gear drains the battery after a few days without use.

330CI have SSG gearbox not SMG. SMG is only in M3.
