A bulletin for the non-beginners:

Note that not all fingers are like this and people are different. Usually an overweight character has shorter fingers with less space between each finger.
A person with thinner fingers would have more detail and bumps and space between fingers. Also skinnier people tend to- whenever they flex their thumb outward- form a little "hole" or "dent" where the thumb connects to the hand on the outer side. As ligaments come into play.
I'm not saying you have to do this as it's your art style and this tutorial is a very big help with beginning shaping! I just would like to give my variety. My spice. Ya know? My own ✨seasoning✨
