2 telur bukan karena penjualnya pelit tapi biar kuahnya mengental, aku juga gitu kalo bikin mi goreng yang semi kuah, kalo tambah telor ke kuahnya tekstur mi nya jadi lebih lembut seperti dilapisi saos

I think he uses that 2 eggs just to make the sauces thicker.

just to comment since ive had tried the fried noodles from this stall a few times now (recognized the name) and foreigners here are pissing me off lol:

1. the noodles are cooked fully. i never experienced them being "hard" or "undercooked". the noodles resting in the tray will cook them further anyways, plus these types of noodles are not meant to be cooked for too long otherwise they'll be too soggy.
2. the two eggs added is simply a thickening agent (this technique is used frequently anyways). the texture is VERY different than other fried noodles. i prefer these over everything else. for egg lovers, there is an additional fried egg add on for extra rm1 (or 25 cents-ish converted).
3. why are people making an issue of them packing them in paper??? its literally a paper covered saran wrap and is WAY more eco friendly than plastic/polystyrene packaging. malaysians use them to wrap up meals to sell. if you have an issue with this, you're not gonna live here in 3 hours since everyone including their mothers use it to wrap food.

please dont judge something purely based off visuals. im gatekeeping my favorite stalls from now on 😭

other than that, this stall sells other versions too like yellow noodles, rice noodles and kampung fried rice. their noodles are quite spicy, i find myself struggling to finish them without tearing up.

for those wondering why they used 2 eggs. the eggs are meant to thicken the sauce not too enrich the flavor. the hawkers usually sell fried eggs as separately.

for those wondering why they're not 100% cooked. this is a common cooking science. this is a takeaway food stall. customers will eat at home. they don't instantly eat after purchase. if you cook a large batch of noodles. always stop at 80% because the cooking process won't stop immediately after you turn of your stove. they will cooked over time. just like boiled eggs. that's why some people instantly put their boiled eggs in cold water to stop the cooking process immediately. so if you cook the noodles until it's 100% cooked your customer will eat an overcooked noodle at home.

The noodles are perfectly cooked. It's not overcooked. By the time you eat it, it will be soft. I prefer my noodles that way. The eggs are for flavour. Nice light meal. Nice video.
