SYNC unfortunately will never be good on a Tecsun receiver. You can hear the "pulling" and lock loss. The whole point of SYNC, going back to the SONY 2010 receivers and Drake is to add stability to signals and counter fading. The problem with Tecsun version of SYNC is the failure to lock, thus the warbling effect etc But thanks for the video and mention!

Rookie question: Can this radio run on A/C power? It appears to be battery only. I like having the battery option, but want a radio i can leave plugged in and attached to an external antenna and stereo speakers 99% of the time. Thanks!

I don't understand how a brand with a certain prestige like Tecsun, continues to incorporate a synchronous detection that is practically useless! I have a 501x, which is an excellent triple conversion receiver, but it is really sad that the synchronous detection is so disastrous. Anyway, Tom, enjoy the good parts of the 2200x, and let's hope that Tecsun corrects this problem permanently.
