A cosy countryside vlog from my cottage and kitchen renovation update | Episode 1

It's been a few weeks since I posted a vlog, sorry about that... It's been quite full on with kitchen renovations, holidays (we went to Denmark for a week), multiple birthdays and getting the kitchen renovated.
We have done a lot of the prep work for the kitchen ourselves, so my hands are currently a total mess in need of a manicure and I have also thought that now I can plaster a wall reasonably successfully, that I might be able to take on a 15 bedroom castle in a remote part of Scotland (only joking).
Today I am spending time pressing flowers, enjoying the garden and creating pretty posies to dry (with help from my cat Pepper), as well as keep fresh around the cottage. The sweet peas smell divine and the pressed flowers are looking so pretty.
It was also (as mentioned) my birthday, and I did manage to vlog a little on the day when Jon and I enjoyed some of my Mums homemade elderflower and lemon cake she'd made specially for me in the garden.
I am going to spend some more time as of September working on vlogs, so hopefully things become a little more organised in that department, but I hope you've at least enjoyed previous videos and shorts that I have been sharing.
Anyway, as always don't forget to like / comment and save and share with your friends, as the more of us here the more flowers and colourful homes I am hoping there will be round the world (and spoilt dogs and cats).
