It is incredible how much Xtreme 3 plays loud with "LFM"!!
But I do not recommend to activate it: trebles break your years and EQ is out of control.

REMEMBER: it does not exist a Low Frequency Mode, it is just a developer mode!!!

I have update 1.8.8 on jbl xtreme 3 and lfm works and it does get noticeably louder but also sound quality decreases and sounds like you’ll do damage to the speaker long run

Why your speaker is different than all other bass test youtube videos with the xtreme 3? All other have a soft material on the top and the speaker are made from cardboard, but yours is made with plastic, like the xtreme 2. Where do you got your speaker?

See i told ya they are the same as the xtreme 2 lmao.. Only big diff is their design and the passives are now more metal which makes them look nicer and the extra weight helps with slightly deeper bass.. But if you already own the xtreme 2 then no need to upgrade unless you want that look. Which honestly you could swap out the passives from the 3 to the 2nd gen.. Which im doing to my xtreme 2 for looks but the GG n GT xtreme 2 are equal to the 3rd gen.. Idk why jbl done that i was looking foward to a huge upgrade but all we did was get a make over with fugly runner bumpers... I already ran my xtreme 2 against my uncles xtreme 3 and you cant tell the diff other then some of the deeper bass songs get a lil deeper but loudness is identical.. If you was blindfolded you wouldnt know which is which they are that close
