Thanks for including me! (Would've preferred the one with my lockdown hair-do, not to be included! 🤣😉)

Great to see fellow Hidden Branch member Daniel get a shout out. He's united us younger genealogists into a community I've never had before 😁

It would be interesting to see an example of figuring out or "proving" a mystery line through DNA segment triangulation with Gedmatch data and similar. I think that may be something people would want to see how it's done and send to others. I've done it a few times but I don't have the video or slideshow skills to do a professional presentation.

Really nice to see these - for me, it's a mix of known channels with a few new ones, so thanks for that. Everyone's a winner!

Great video! I'm just starting my channel & I wasn't familiar with a few of these.

I like all of those. Specifically the Jewish ones teaching us about our family backgrounds.

I have a genealogy/language-learning channel (Niamh-Learns), but I don't consistently upload. I haven't uploaded in over a year.
Happy to look into these ones!

Thank you these recommendations ... going to look at these...

Also looking for “genealogy for dummies” 😬🤪...I am fascinated by this really and have hand written family tree going back on dad’s side to 4th great grandfather but eeeesh Get all turned inside out trying to read/imagine my 3rd cousin 2x removed with 6 segments 🤔 whatever that means 🙃

I subscribe to Ancestral Findings, which I've found to have quite interesting and practical information.

I will need to take a look at these. I've been following Life with Dr Trish Varner. She's doing a series of videos about her family tree. She's not a genealogist, but it's interesting to see beyond the ethnicity test.

You should do videos of old documentaries and find the ppl in them I always watch documentaries and wonder what happened to the homeless 17 year old kid in ny in th 50s 60s 70s etc

Hi there! I just took my first step and am awaiting my results from ancestryDNA. I will definitely try MyHeritage because I have germanic/eastern European ancestors. Can you suggest next steps? I know that your can upload your results from one database to another. Thanks 😊

I have started to make genealogy content that is about my ancestors who I have alot of info of and always wanted to tell it my way, but I was hesitant due to my speech impairment, I cant draw for the life of me, and was somewhat worried that some people would take it the wrong way.
But decided to fuc it, since its summer and my mind was screaming at me to do and just take it if any critism or just plain out disgust at the shit that is my content.

The videos are a way for me to also finally put everything I know in one basket and maybe find relatives who are familiar with the people I am talking about.
My friend is concerned that eventually I wont have any ancestors to talk about and has recommended that I talk about other stuff, but there are people that can talk about it WAAAAY better than me.
I dont think I will get big and while there is that desire to, my career is not youtube and I will most likely not make videos during school days.

I know I'm being pedantic but it please me very much if the term "genealogy" was pronounced "gene-A-logy" and NOT "gene-O-logy".
