What Harry and wife have become is a source of amusement. They are totally unaware of how the public has come to view them and they continue as if they are adored. I rather like Thomas Markle’s observation of Harry as being a “Candyass”, it does seem to fit him rather well. As you say, HG; they will never shut up. I love the “Dark and icy heart” observation.

As a child, I loved Sizzler, and so did my siblings. I remember Mom with her coupons. I remember pushing our tray and getting salad while steak cooked. Then they brought you the steak at your table and took your place card holder number. Drinks were refillable and mom or me didn't have to do the dishes! Also, after the meal we got to go back to the dessert section of the salad bar for chocolate pudding and whipped cream!

As an adult, my college bf and I remarked how we thought that was luxury! We were happy.
However, now we know better since both of our divorced mothers took us to Sizzler and our dad's took us to white table cloth restaurants. Both of our dad's were all about show, and our moms were just trying to raise 3 kids (yes we were both the middle child).

Both our dad's would turn their nose up at Sizzler, while both our moms taught us to live within our means. We were poor comparatively to other children in our neighborhood, but not destitute or homeless, and we never missed a meal!

FYI, the Sizzler wasn’t a bad place to eat at all, and they did have a great salad bar. Also, I agree Hypocrite Harry is a candyass.

Love that Mr T.Markle is defending himself and his reputation from his lying & nasty daughter as he should. Hard working man, loving/present/caring Dad who took care of all his children and gave them all they need it. Love the way he express himself, shows intelligence & humility. Loved by his peers & award winner, shows dedication & leadership. Feel sad for him now at 77 & sick have to defend himself from that pathological liar. I applaud him for doing so & wish him the best.

I came across your videos and the Markle debacle when I was in hospital and cruising YouTube out of boredom. Since then the devilish duo have provided me with hours of amusement. I shall be quite sad when the soggy saga comes to an end, as one day it must. I haven't lived in the UK for 42 years, half my life and no longer consider myself a Brit; but nevertheless I retain a great respect and affection for HM the Queen and the RF. So therefore I hope that the tale will end with virtue rewarded and the villains laid suitably low.

If my life was being played out on the human stage, I believe I may want to throw out some revisions if my daughter was portraying me in a manner that disagreed with my sensibilities. I can almost hear the voices in my head, yearning to clarify the insensitive remarks used against me. For I am only human and fall into the trap of wanting to stand my ground, defend my integrity and offer my version of the play being written about my part as the “villain” or “ selling my story for $$$” or “ raising our children on $4.99 salad bars. My natural narcissism would want to say, “CUT, Let’s get this right, I may have had some mommy dearest moments but can we put in the part which provides some positive portrayals as well?” I know this doesn’t make for a good Hallmark movie that Harry’s wife is so good at performing in, but let’s give Mr. Markle a break here, it’s his prime time Movie as well. I’d be throwing out some Quibble here and there if I could get someone to hear me. Besides how else would I get to participate if I didn’t speak up. Otherwise I’d think of myself as a ghost of a memory, not a real character in my child’s life.

Not for nothing, but a $4.99 salad bar from thirty years ago, adjusted for inflation, probably comes out to something closer to $13-14. Hardly pickings from a handy dumpster.

Do you have Sizzler in the UK? When we had young children we often took them to Sizzler. Why? They liked it. Why on earth would we take young children or young teens to expensive restaurants??? They can't appreciate the food. They can't sit still. They prefer hamburgers and french fries. Harry's wife- GMAFB. I hate to tell her this but poor people can't even afford Sizzler. Back in her childhood it wasn't Sizzler, a night out meant McDonald's.
