As the clock ticks down to California's reopening from all COVID-19 restrictions on June 15 and with state coffers flush with a $75.7 billion budget surplus, Gov. Gavin Newsom unveiled his $100 billion recovery plan Tuesday for a state economy ravaged by months of business shutdowns and closures.

To all the elderly and disabled on Social Security. Most likely you wont qualify again. Last time the governor did his stimulus, he required you have an EITC. So an elderly that only has social security to live gets no help. But you can be a non-citizen and put a dollar earned and get it.
