The media, and journalists in general, need to take a hard look at themselves. How do they sleep at night? Revulting humans, preying off of the misfortunes of others. The way that they put people to the sword, they wouldn't last 5 minutes under the same pressure.

This whole rascism thing is completely out of hand.
ANY accusation must be backed by proof, whats happened is the opposite. It was only a matter of time before it began to affect peoples health....it appears that if your accused then you are guilty until proven innocent. There is no avenue to prove your innocence, no onus on those accusing to produce proof. They say mediation....mediation for what?? No body has been found guilty of anything.

Who are the faceless people who told their STORY?

As a GEELONG supporter, I’m no fan of CLARKSON, however how he has been treated is absolutely disgraceful.
These faceless allegations and the usual suspects including the ABC need to be dealt with.

Why don't they just let Clarkson, Fagan & Burt tell their side of the story. It's not Hawthorns fault they didn't have the chance to respond. Didn't the HFC ask the AFL to assist with this in the first place.? Reckon the ABC reporter needs to bear as much of the blame for this as well as much as anyone. They only chose to report one sided allegations and not have Clarkson, Fagan & Burt respond before the ABC then came out with the story.🙄but hey, what do I know, just a humble observer.

Everyone forgetting that Hawthorn gave this to the AFL in asking for help because it was too big for them to handle. AFL has let this stew for too long, Tasmania and CEO were more important to them.

2 of the players making the accusations are Dayle Garlett and Jed Anderson. Get the names out there, name and shame

Australians a country that prefers to throw individuals under the bus than actually take responsibility for any problems that we are now facing

It’s disgusting that people who have had allegations put against them don’t get the chance to put their story out, what more can you say when you see people treated like they are guilty and not given a chance to say anything when others accuse them of something. The AFL should be ashamed of themselves just as much as Hawthorn should be of themselves for sitting back and dragging this on for so long

Hawthorn should be ashamed along with the AFL, name the so called accusers, this stings of a money crab by ex players who I guess have been sacked.

As an Essendon fan, I hate to be the bearer of bad news to Hawks fans, but this is gunna get a lot worse before it gets better, if it ever does. The examples of West Coast after the Ben Cousins era, our ASADA saga and Melbourne after the tanking debacle show a historic pattern where a lot of revered figures are never the same again and it takes a huge amount of personnel overhaul to get the club back on track again. At least Clarko’s done the right thing by North by removing himself and sparing the Roos from the ripple effects this will have

Why is this a first nations investigation? So the people making alegations are indigenous, so what. Get the alegation, do the investigation, get a response, provide a resolution. Move on. All that should take no longer than 8 weeks.

Good on Lewis for speaking out strongly against his own club. The AFL and the investigative panel have a lot to answer for. Clearly there is no defensible and fair process that has been put into place. It is a complete shambles and hopefully Clarko's mental health absence will be the catalyst for the AFL to step in and get the process right for all involved.

The players need to be named to, just because of the colour of your skin, you don’t get to make slanderous accusations with no comeback or reply.

Onya for having an opinion here Jordy backing you're old coach. Shame on the AFL for not doing a good job on this one. Understand he may have done a few things wrong but he is obviously a good man and would own up and apologise if found guilty, to get to a point where he is seriously unwell isn't a good situation for anyone.
