A long time ago, When I was a student, I became a Yankee fan because of Derek Jeter. He was the first player who I knew in MLB for the first time. And then I started to learn MLB, baseball and Yankees. So he is really special for me. He was always in my memories. I'm glad to be a Yankee fan and I'm lucky that I live in the same era with him. He is still so cool!

That was awesome to see. I reacted the same way when I got to meet my idol Chris Chambliss. Just in case nobody knows who he is. He was the first baseman for the New York Yankees. Look him up on YouTube. Great moment at that time in the 1976 AL Championship game against the Kansas City Royals.

I always resisted, even as a non Yankee fan, when people called him overrated. You can't quantify leadership and the desire to win. I dont think its a coincidence they havent really been the same since he left.
