Roman Waste Disposal on Hadrian's Wall

When we think of the Roman's we think of bathhouses, washing, cleanliness, and clean robes! In fact, you cannot look in a school book and not see an image of roman baths and bathing. That being said there is another side to the Romans, how they debt with waste! Rubbish or Trash -depending on what side of the Atlantic you are - has always been an issue for any society. In today's episode let's look at how they dealt with it on Hadrian's Wall!
