This is the kind of trailer I want to see, no CGI bullshit that ED did.

GTA V: Started development in 2009, Rockstar North consists of 365 and that excludes any others outside of that one studio.

TES V Skyrim: Was in development for 3-4 years, 100 people worked on it.

Star Citizen: Started development in 2011, became substantial enough for presentation in 2012. Hangar module released in 2013 with a dev team of 80 people. Arena commander released in June 2014. Current dev team 250 people. Star Citizen has a scope and visual fidelity that far outshines the previous mentioned games.

So tell me again why you are all so butthurt about it not being done yet?

Nice improvement from the Imagine trailer. I like how the action and timing syncs with the music.

Ahhh, the smooth Cry Engine. I can already taste the 60fps battles with my Hornet.

Pretty hyped as SC develops, and enjoying E:D while I wait for it to be released.

Advice to the sound mixing team: In my opinion you should have started the music at the start with very low volume and increased it until the point where it actually starts in this video.  It would have made the foley effects of the light switches seem a lot more realistic.

That said, this game is awesome!  Can't wait for the PU!

Also mad respect for this video being all in engine.  The quality of these scenes is insane.

I tweeted Pedro and asked him about the music. He didn't do it and reckons it's some random royalty-free rock track. So now you know.

Now it would be amazing if there was a system for in game player made ship companies, where players can design, sell, advertise, and gain profit from building ships

created without CGI, Rock Music instead of crappy dubstep . That is how you make trailers!

Star citizen looks awesome i am an original pledger, and havn't really followed developement much, one thing worries me a lot though, with the sale of ships for real money, doesn't that make the game completly pay 2 win, which seems a horrible thorn in its side from my perspective

What a lackluster trailer, it almost gave me a seizure with its constantly changing shots that never seem to stay on for more than a second during gameplay, oh, and nobody wants to sit for the first 25 seconds of your trailer and wait for the lights to shine on already visible ships. Yeah, and using some wooooh-woooh-wooh song isn't really fitting well with a Work-In-Progress game, doesn't send the right vibes you see, people might confuse it with a finished product.

Now, how to make this trailer better:
- Put music that is actually in the game to create the right atmosphere. Make it grand.
- Show some crazy PLAYER-DRIVEN FOOTAGE, like ships colliding in each other, etc
- Stop cutting so much to other shots
- Just get the guy that did your actual trailers before

Check please.
