Recently I paid my first visit to Warsaw, the capital of Poland! And let me tell you… This city is ridiculously underrated. 😤

Warsaw has everything you would want in a city. Good food, friendly people, safe streets, and also this perfect mix of modern and classic architecture! ✨

These are the 5 things I enjoyed the most on my trip to Warsaw! (Besides talking to locals obviously, but that’s the best thing to do in every place!)

For football fans visit the Pge narodowy (poland national stadium) or Stadion wojska polskiego (Legia warsaw stadium)

Also have a cocktail at the top of the presidential hotel, views are fantastic so are the cocktails

I grew up in Poland but permanently moved out over 30 years ago. Honesty, Poland is not very attractive for me as a tourist. There are a few reasons for this. 1. I prefer nature over cities, and there isn't much there that can impress me in this respect; there is just no contest between the natural wonders of North America and Poland. 2. Prices. OK, Poland is, of course, inexpensive for me when I compare it to my current home country (US), but when I add airfare, car rental and insurance, it's not that good anymore; it'ssimply less expensive to visit some national parks in the US then to fly to Poland. 3. I just feel better traveling within US (or Canada) than when I do so in Poland. I'm not saying that there is anything wrong there; it's just different (I quickly get used to driving those norrow roads).
