Every single bloody time, I will never not get Metalingus stuck in my head when I see these videos.

That Steve Austin kid from WCW had a lot of potential. And I mean a lot of potential. Could've been a top guy in WWE.

Could you make this actually a little longer? Maybe over 2 minutes? Telling more facts? 50 seconds seems a bit too low.

As much as I'm enjoying this new series, the videos ARE a bit too short. You're telling me that only TWO noteworthy things have ever happened in the wrestling world on May 11th? Only two? I'd be totally cool with even previous wrestling show results. I could probably pull up something now, like... there we go. One year ago today, Daniel Bryan was forced to relinquish the Interecontinental Championship, which is the final title he's ever held. There's something! :P

Either way, keep up the great work. You rock, Adam (though Ross is growing on me lately, too, that lovable, kingly bastard :P)

Also on this day in 2013 Pro Wrestling NOAHs biggest draw, the legendary Kenta Kobashi wrestled his final match in the Final Burning in Budokan. He teamed with Jun Akiyama, Keiji Mutoh (AKA the Great Muta) and Kensuke Sasaki in an eight-man tag team match, where they defeated his protégés Go Shiozaki, Kenta (AKA Hideo Itami), Maybach Taniguchi, and Yoshinobu Kanemaru, with Kobashi pinning Kanemaru with a moonsault for the final win of his career.

Steve Austin is damn good.  From ring tactician, to brawler, to being the most over wrestler in WWE, and retirement.

Waiting for the May 19th one.

"This day was a catalyst for a really shitty Kane clone storyline."

On this day I see clearly
Everything has come to life
A bitter place and a broken dream
And we'll leave it all behind
On this day its so real to me
Everything has come to life
Another chance to chase a dream
Another chance to feel
Chance to feel alive

Lol, Bischoff fired him over the telephone long distance. WCW had a bad record of firing injured talent at that time. I think they also fired Mick Foley when he was injured too.
