Does this game have any other modes except the scenarios?

After someone finishes all the scenarios does it have a decent amount of replayability?

After reading the rules it states "If there are no readied enemies engaged with a hero or in the shadows, that hero does not activate an enemy" do you still draw from the enemy deck if there's no readied enemies in front of you ?

I think we must have played the game really bad because we died very quickly. We discovered and travelled through the locations too fast because we died really fast in the end. We should have maybe focused more on killing monsters.

Without expansion/s. I feel like this game is very limited. Not to say it's a bad game, because it's not. They left out a cool mechanism that was in Warhammer quest. GEAR! Not just the simple potion, but swords and staffs ect..
I was hoping to get these things in a expansion, but seems this is another ffg forgotten game. 😢

One weird thing about the rules for me is how the hero attacks first, but the enemy damage still counts even if the enemy were to die from the attack. I suppose they had to do it this way or else the game would be too easy.

27:31 - It's not how it works with multiple targets. You can NOT choose where to focus your damage, because you are attacking them all at once. So you must split the damage among all targets. Rulebook Page 7 - Resolving Successes - Attack: "When resolving an attack against multiple targets, after rolling dice, the hero divides the successes among the targets". So in your case only one of the rat swarms will die. 😉
