Love this idea Brotherman. Honestly, if Nike wants to kill the resell market they could do so with one easy move. Create a "made to order" branch within Nike. Order any pair from anytime, no matter how rare. This would also include f&f, sample, or mock-up takes on any sneaker in Nike history.

Ehh, I'm all for anything that kills insane resell prices. Be it what they're presently doing or F&F. But what I'd rather them do is make a full GR run of PEs from back in the day. Kobe, Ray, Bibby, Paul, Richardson all still have some absolute 🔥🔥🔥 PEs that have never been even remotely possible for the average sneakerhead. They already have done quite a few of em anyways, so it's not like there's a desire to keep them all extremely limited.

Releasing the friends and family pairs defeats the purpose of friends and family pairs. It’s a perk of doing business with or being employed by Nike. If Nike starts releasing them to the masses, that no longer works as an incentive. And I couldn’t pretend to care about resale value, I’m speaking to the pov of someone receiving a F&F product directly from a brand.
