We don't need tax cuts, what we do need is the infrastructure of this country repaired, restructuring of the NHS so it works, build industry to export and compete abroad and bring money into the country instead of recycling in the service industry, sort out social care and end private elderly care and reinstate state owned, reinstate discipline in schools, Investigate and change how local councils operate and waste finaance. etc etc.

Good discussion. Nigel didn't always agree, but unlike many others in this position, Nigel was polite and straightforward, and not patronising to any of the questioners. Very refreshing. It's the way Question Time should be.

I've been working for 35 years and paid tax and national insurance yet I can't afford dental treatment and I've been struggling to get the appointments I need for my own health
People who get benefits can at least get nhs dental care for free and and prescriptions we don't get anything for free
We are penalised for wanting to work hard to live a better life we pay 2, 160 council tax a year and over the years thousands of pounds in taxes and we still do
What do working families have to look forward to in this country nothing!

Saw Starmer's response to the budget and thought he did a good job, do I believe what he says though? Absolutely not. A lot of the crowd don't seem too thrilled at the prospect of a Labour government and who can blame them, they've seen enough Labour governments to know better. The young lad, bless him and I don't mean to be condescending when I say that, we were all young once. Nigel Farage was absolutely right, for goodness sake, we've been here many times before, you go after the uber rich, they go pack their bags, hop on their jet and go somewhere they are welcome. Yes, the uber rich aren't paying their fair share, but until the world comes up with a great way of pinning them down, trying to go after them is a bit futile. Farage is the only 'politician' I have heard recently who tells it like it is and actually makes sense, which is not what you get from the CONservatives or Liebour. The conservatives are finished, maybe permanently, this budget will make no difference to them. So come on Nigel, time to saddle up. I believe that by the summer, with you back, Reform could overtake the Tories. You won't win this election, but after 5 years of Labour you might well win the next.
